Getting Started
The Game Flow panel at the top highlights the step that needs attention. Tap [Game Flow] to hide or show all five steps. Tap either the link or anywhere inside a linked Step card to jump to “Who’s Here,” “Team Setup,” or the [Start Games] button. Use the “Top” link beside the check-in heading to return to Game Flow.
- Check each player in as they arrive. The Arrival Order field records that order.
- Choose whether winners stay and whether partnerships remain together.
- If checkbox "Keep teams together" is "ON", create teams manually or use [Randomly Pair Everyone].
- Tap [Start Games]. The current matchup and waiting order will appear.
- After each game, tap the winning player or team. Played and Won update immediately. Then tap [Next Game].
Winner Stays on Table
When checkbox "Winner stays on table" is "ON", the selected winner remains at the table after [Next Game]. The losing player or team moves to the back of the waiting order, and the next eligible challenger comes in.
[Sit the Winners] ends a long table run. Everyone currently playing rotates out and the next eligible players or teams move in.
When checkbox "Winner stays on table" is "OFF", both sides rotate after [Next Game]. The waiting order determines who plays next.
Keep Teams Together
When checkbox "Keep teams together" is "ON", two-player partnerships move through the rotation as a single unit. Winners stay together, losing teams return to the queue together, and waiting teams enter together.
- [Randomly Pair Everyone] makes partnerships automatically.
- [Rebuild Teams Manually] clears all pairings and enables every player name.
- For manual setup, tap two names and then [Make Selected Team]. Repeat until the desired teams are complete.
- Use [View / Edit Teams] during play to pause the matchup, preserve the statistics, and reopen Team Setup.
When checkbox "Keep teams together" is "OFF", players rotate individually and partnerships may change from game to game.
Three Players and Other Odd Numbers
Two active players use singles with no waiting player. This is useful for tracking their Played and Won totals. Three active players also use singles: one player versus one player, with the third player waiting. Team-pairing controls do not affect either format.
With five, seven, or another odd number in fixed-team mode, complete teams can play while the remaining person is shown as needs partner. That player does not enter a doubles game alone.
When another unpaired player checks in during fixed-team play, the two unpaired players automatically become a new team at the end of the waiting order.
How the Rotation Stays Fair
The waiting order is a queue: the first eligible player or complete team shown is Next In. Players who rotate out move to the back. New arrivals also join at the end.
With exactly four players and fixed teams, the same two teams remain the only available matchup. With more teams, the next waiting team replaces the side that rotates out.
Adding or Removing Players Mid-Day
- A new player joins the end of the individual rotation.
- In fixed-team mode, a new player waits for a partner. If another unpaired player is already waiting, they automatically form a team.
- When a fourth player joins a three-player singles game, play returns to Team Setup so two doubles teams can be reviewed before restarting.
- Unchecking a waiting player removes them cleanly. If they belonged to a fixed team, their partner becomes unpaired.
- Removing someone from the current fixed-team matchup pauses play and reopens setup so the partnerships can be repaired safely.
- Rechecking a removed player treats them as a new arrival and places them at the end.
Scores, Undo, and Reset
Played increases for everyone at the table when a winner is selected. Won increases for the selected winner or both members of the selected winning team.
[Undo Last Game] reverses the most recently recorded game and its rotation. Changing the roster or game mode clears older undo history so the queue stays consistent.
[Reset Day] clears all check-ins, teams, waiting order, and statistics. Checkboxes "Winner stays on table" and "Keep teams together" both return to "ON".
